DFX ANALYSIS (DFM, DFA AND DFT)

DFX Analysis

Senja Technologies offers Design for Excellence (DFX) services which include DFM, DFA and DFT for PCB's in the Design stage. DFX analysis helps designers anticipate the practical problems that may occur during the PCB Fabrication and assembly phases.

We recommend DFX analysis for the PCB's which are used in Space, Avionics, Telecom, Industrial, Medical, Computing, and Automotive application.

We use the market leader software mentor graphics Valor NPI suite. Combined with manufacturing data (CAD, BOM, etc.), VPL model allows us to perform sophisticated assembly validation such as analyzing solder joints in your design & guaranteeing assembly and rework capability.

The "x" in DFX is the key to success in the design phase.

Advantages of DFX Analysis

  •    Improves the reliability of a design by identifying manufacturing risks to be managed prior to the production process
  •    Provide the interface between design and manufacturer to ensure a smooth transition to production
  •    Avoids the cost of design changes
  •    Minimized production risk
  •  ✔      No clarification Mails/Calls” from the Fabrication and the Assembly house
  •   ✔      Reduced Lead Time
  •   ✔     Increased Qualit
  •   ✔     Enhanced Customer satisfaction (Improved delivery)
  •   ✔     Reduced PCB scrap and Recycling cost

If you neglect to apply DFX as part of your PCB design, you may be setting yourself up for future problems with board assembly, such as longer production cycles, increased costs and unexpected hiccups when converting from prototyping to production. Prepare your board for a successful future by applying DFX before sending it off for manufacturing.
